After inspection of the vessel and its facilities, the inspector will sign the vessel's fish inspector's register. During this period, the processor is expected to address the issues (if any) raised by the inspector within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the report to avoid non-conformity, and communicate in writing, to the inspector how they have addressed the issues that were raised. This process may take up to one (1) month depending on the level of compliance by the processor. The pre-inspection report will then be prepared and sent to the processor within five (5) days. The report contain a go-ahead to fish.
