The KEPHIS inspector will draw samples from the consignment for further laboratory analysis.
If the consignment does not meet the phytosanitary requirements, it can be treated, destroyed or shipped back to the country of origin at the expense of the importer. Inspection of the consignment depends with the phytosanitary risk. The outcome can be inspected and passed for discharge/release, inspected and recommended for treatment and inspected & rejected due to high risk phytosanitary to the country
