Additional information
For all consignments originating outside of the Port of Mombasa (e.g., loaded at factories, or dry ports) exporters must send samples of the consignment to AFA FCD's inspectorate office for issuance of a quality certificate prior to release on the TFP.
For consigments loaded at the Port of Momabsa, exporters are required to request for inspection after the sisal has been transported to the AFA - Fibre Crops Directorate's inspectorate office.
