Additional information

The request for inspection can be made physically or via phone call. On Sundays, the KEPHIS inspectors operate from Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) terminal 1. Scheduled inspections are carried out for dry commodities such as tea, coffee, maize etc., therefore, if the consignment was already inspected during the scheduled inspections, this step will not be mandatory.
