Additional information

Once the application for the licence is made, it will undergo vetting for either approval or rejection. This process can take up to sixty days as the application goes through the Fibre Crops Directorate and AFA vetting committees, and a notice for licensing that has to be gazetted by the Directorate thirty days before the licence can be issued. Submissions for objections by any interested parties must be submitted to the Directorate within fourteen days of the gazette notice.
