Additional information

For motor vehicles that arrive without a certificate of roadworthiness from the country of origin and have undergone destination inspection, KEBS will release the motor vehicle conditionally and issue an inspection request form to facilitate inspection by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure; this Inspection can take one (1) to three (3) days.
Once the inspection is complete, a report is sent to KEBS who will release the vehicle online and issue a local certificate of roadworthiness which is required for registration with NTSA and release by KRA.
