Additional information
Consignments originating from countries outside the EAC region that arrive without a Certificate of Conformity will be subject to destination inspection which attracts a fee of 5% of the customs value of the consignment. For re - exports, consignments arriving without a certificate of conformity will also be subject to destination inspection where traders will be required to pay whichever is higher of $265.00 or 0.6%.
