Additional information

For goods manufactured locally and are not be sold in the local market but for export purpose only, a product registration certificate and retention certificate will not be required. However, the certificate of analysis is a mandatory document.
The applicant must have user credentials to access the Kenya TradeNet System. For more information on how to train and register with the Kenya TradeNet System, click here.The applicant is also required to apply for the unique consignment reference (UCR) prior to applying for the import permit.
